Homework, Projects, Etc.Students should spend at least 30 minutes on homework each day. Parents, please discuss the importance of homework with your child!
Students will be given at least 3 reading assignments from the textbook every week. Reading assignments can be found in the blog of this site. Students should read the assignment and answer the guiding questions.
TEXTBOOK WEBSITE:Here you will find resources from the textbook - notes, study guides, assessments, etc. If you forgot to bring your textbook home, use this to your advantage!!!

Extra Credit & Make-Up AssignmentsIf you are interested in completing extra-credit or a make-up assignment, you have the following options:
1. Read an article from a news source about a current event, and write 2 paragraphs about the article- a summary & an opinion. 2. Make a "postcard" of a place we are currently studying. - Open minds!!! - Social Studies Binder – For you to keep all assignments and notes organized. - Writer’s notebook – For you to keep in the classroom for in-class assignments. I suggest a notebook that has perforated lined paper, so you can tear out pages if necessary. - You will receive a textbook to bring home. |
